In this study, impact of The Student’s Optimistic Attitudes And Resiliency Program (SOAR) on the hopelessness levels of Turkish children at risk was investigated by comparing pre, post, and follow- up test scores of an experiment group and a control group. A total of 24 students participated. The results indicated that effectiveness of SOAR was found statistically significant for within experimental group but no difference between experimental and control group. Also the follow up measures stated that the positive effects of SOAR program were going on.
