Analys?ng The Sense Of Employee Empowermentof Teachers With Regards To Several Variables
The aim of this study is determine the teachers’ sense of strengthening work in public schools with regards to several variables. It is determined that insufficient number of survey about this topic is remarkable. In this respect this survey has unique qualification in respect to adding new knowledge to literature of “employee empowerment”. In the study 870 teachers’ views, who work in 2014-2015 education year in Malatya are chosen from different schools and branches are utilized. “Employee Empowerment” is developed by Spreitzer (1995) and adopted to Turkish by Gümüşoğlu and Karakitapoğlu-Aygün (2009) is used as data collection tool. In the result of analysing data perceived, it is determined that teachers’ averages of opinions for all extent of ‘Employee Empowerment Scale’ are high-level. It is seen that scores for selection in extent of ‘Employee Empowerment’ changes meaningfully according to variable of type of school and it was also found that the primary school teachers’ selection scores are higher than secondary school teachers’. Also it is found that there is a meaningful relation among groups of professional seniority variables. When relation among extents of Employee Empowerment is analysed it is another important result that all extents have a meaningful relation.
